FAQ

Answers to common questions about Veridose products, ordering, and shipping.

What is the Veridose V2 pen and how does it work?

The Veridose V2 is a reusable, dial-a-dose injection pen designed for peptide and biochemistry research. It operates on a mechanical dial mechanism calibrated in single-unit increments up to 60 units. To use the pen, a loaded 3ml glass cartridge is inserted into the pen barrel, a compatible pen needle tip is attached, and the desired dose is selected by rotating the dial. Depressing the plunger button delivers the set dose. The pen can be reloaded with fresh cartridges and needle tips as needed.

How accurate is the dosing mechanism?

The V2 pen uses a mechanical ratchet dial calibrated in 1-unit increments. Each click of the dial corresponds to a single unit, allowing researchers to set repeatable doses with a high degree of consistency. The mechanism is designed for controlled research protocols where dose reproducibility is essential.

What is included with the pen?

Each Veridose V2 Reusable Injection Pen ships with one sterile 3ml glass cartridge and one protective hard storage case. Pen needle tips are sold separately. Additional cartridges are available in packs of 10.

What cartridges does the pen use?

The V2 pen is designed for use with Veridose 3ml glass cartridges — sterile borosilicate glass cartridges with 11mm long stoppers and universal pen fit. These cartridges are individually sealed for sterility. We recommend using only Veridose-branded cartridges to ensure proper fit and dosing accuracy.

What needles are compatible?

The V2 pen accepts standard pen needle tips with universal threading. We supply Veridose Pen Needle Tips in 31G x 5mm — EO-sterilised, single-use tips optimised for subcutaneous delivery with minimal tissue disruption. Other standard-thread pen needles of similar gauge may also be compatible, though we recommend our supplied tips for consistent results.

How long do the cartridges and needles last?

Each 3ml glass cartridge holds enough compound for multiple doses, depending on the volume per dose set on the pen dial. Cartridges should be replaced once empty or if the seal is compromised. Pen needle tips are designed for single use — a fresh tip should be attached before each injection to maintain sterility and sharpness. Cartridges are available in packs of 10, and needle tips in boxes of 100.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are dispatched within 3 to 7 business days of payment. International delivery typically takes 2 to 3 weeks depending on your destination. Tracking information is provided when available. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes in their country.

What is your returns policy?

Opened sterile products — including cartridges and needle tips — cannot be returned for standard refunds due to safety reasons. However, if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement regardless of whether the packaging has been opened, in line with Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Please contact us before initiating any return. Full details are available on our Refund and Returns Policy page.
